Olympic mascot "Huanhuan" poses in front of the Beijing National Stadium, in Beijing, China, on May 24, 2008. The 2008 Olympics Fuwa mascots (literally "good-luck dolls") include: Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini. They represent respectively a fish, a giant panda, the fire, the Tibetan antelope, and a swallow. They also correspond the five elements of Chinese philosophy: water, metal, fire, wood, and earth. Also each doll's primary color is one of the Olympic rings. Finally, the first syllable of each mascot's name combine to give the phrase "Beijing huanying ni" which means "Beijing welcomes you". The 91,000-seat National Stadium, known as the "Bird's Nest" will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the August 8-24 Olympics. Photo by Sergiu Turcanu/Pictobank
